A New Talent
I'm working on getting some new talent signed on for Tiller-time Enterprises. I'm finding that I really have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for singing talent. I recently ran across a singer-stuntman by the name of Rex Maynard. I met Rex when he helped to foil a terrorist plot a few weeks ago. His stunt work is top-notch, but I'm not so sure about his singing. Both my daughter, Nancy and my sister, Harriet are completely taken with him!!!!! I think that they may be more sold on his looks and stunt skills. He sang 'Happy Birthday' to Harriet a few days ago and she completely melted. I think that he has been secretly seeing Nancy, but I can't prove anything.

Rex has been hanging around the studio, trying to get me to sign him to a recording contract. I'm not completely sold on the idea, especially after what he did to my dear uncle, Jack Klugman. Uncle Jack works for me at the studio, mopping the floors and such. I make him work for me at the studio. Otherwise, he just gets into too much trouble on his own. Anyway, Uncle Jack likes to hang around in the martial arts studio, next to the recording studio. He was a judo champion in his day, but as he's 80 years old, he should really hang it up. I found out that no-good-two-bit-son-of-a-warbling-punk Maynard challenged Uncle Jack to a judo match. Poor old Uncle Jack never can resist a fight, so he fought Maynard. That punk broke 4 of Jack's ribs and bruised his sternum. It's a wonder he didn't kill him. Jack's stepson, Murray, is completely distraught and is vowing revenge on Maynard.

Anyway, I got tired of Rex hanging around the studio, so I listened to him sing. I signed him to a contract of $85, just to get him to shut up. Hopefully, he'll be too busy coming up with songs to bother any more of my family members, especially Nancy.

I know Rex, and he's not that bad of a guy. I'm sure he did not mean to hurt Jack to much.
